Thunderstorms Could Hit Detroit Area Monday: MI Weather

Forecasters warned some storms could be strong, but they do not expect any severe weather, according to the weather service.​​

SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN — Multiple rounds of thunderstorms can hit southeastern Michigan on Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

The first round of storms can hit southeastern Michigan sometime around 2 p.m. as temperatures warm into the upper 70s across the region, according to the weather service.

A second round of storms will likely move across southeastern Michigan, especially the Metro Detroit area sometime after 6 p.m. and into the early evening hours, according to the weather service.

The next few days will be dry across southeastern Michigan with high temperatures staying in the 70s and getting close to 80 degrees at times, according to the weather service.

Monday: Thunderstorms; High 78, Low 59

Tuesday: Sunny; High 72, Low 52

Wednesday: Sunny; High 79, Low 56

Thursday: Sunny; High 76, Low 60

Friday: Rain; High 79, Low 57
