Rain will continue across the area Thursday with chances for thunderstorms in the afternoon, the weather service said.
Friday will start dry with temperatures climbing into the 50s before another rainmaker moves into the region during the nighttime hours, the weather service said.

Forecasters warned thunderstorms will be likely again during the overnight hours into Saturday morning, the weather service said.
Rain showers and thunderstorms will linger across the area throughout Saturday with highs climbing near 70 degrees, the weather service said.

The rain finally moves out of the area on Sunday with highs falling back into the mid-50s, the weather service said.
Next week starts dry with warmer temperatures in the low 60s across the region, the weather service said.
