SOUTHEASTERN MICHIGAN — Multiple rounds of thunderstorms are possible across southeastern Michigan early this week as temperatures hit record highs in the region, according to the National Weather Service.
High temperatures in southeastern Michigan will hit 70 degrees Monday before rain showers and thunderstorms move into the region along a cold front during the nighttime and overnight hours, according to the National Weather Service.
Any thunderstorms and rain showers late Monday will bleed over into Tuesday morning when showers become more widespread across southeastern Michigan, according to the National Weather Service.

Rain showers and thunderstorms across southeastern Michigan will become more scattered by Tuesday afternoon when temperatures hit the low 60s, which is still 20 degrees above average for this time of year, according to the National Weather Service.

Cooler air will then settle into southeastern Michigan for the rest of the week as highs will stay in the low 50s before more rain chances move into the region this weekend.
