Tornadoes Possible With Severe Weather Across Detroit Area Thursday
Most of southeastern Michigan has been placed under a slight risk (level 2/5) for severe weather.
Severe thunderstorms are possible again across the Detroit area Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
Scattered rain showers will hang around the region through the morning hours before a warm front brings the storms later in the evening, the weather service.
The storms will move into the region sometime after 8 p.m. Thursday when temperatures warm up into the 60s, the weather service said.

Forecasters warned the storms could produce heavy downpours, large hail, winds up to 60 miles per hour and tornadoes.
Most of southeastern Michigan has been placed under a slight risk (level 2/5) for severe weather, but forecasters said areas west of Interstate 75 will see the greatest chance.

The storms will move out of the region by Friday morning, leading to a sunny and warm opening day for the Detroit Tigers. Highs can touch 70 degrees in the afternoon before another chance of rain in the nighttime hours, the weather service said.
Rain will stick around throughout Saturday with highs again touching 70 degrees. Thunderstorms are also possible, but forecasters do not expect any severe weather.
Highs will drop below 50 degrees on Easter Sunday, but the day should stay dry, the weather service said.
More rain returns to the area early next week with highs in the 50s, the weather service said.
