Woman Stabbed Along Detroit Freeway In Road Rage Incident: Police
Troopers found the woman "bleeding profusely" from her left arm along Interstate 96 under the Southfield Freeway, police said.

DETROIT — A woman was stabbed Thursday along a Detroit freeway during a road rage incident, according to Michigan State Police.
Troopers found the woman "bleeding profusely from her left arm from a knife wound," at 3 p.m. on the westbound Interstate 96 express lanes under the Southfield Freeway, police said.
Troopers applied a tourniquet on the woman's arm to slow the bleeding until medics arrived and took her to a nearby hospital, police said.

Investigators believe the incident started as a road rage incident somewhere off the freeway and then continued onto the freeway, police said.
Investigators determined the suspect's vehicle crashed into the back of the woman's vehicle. The woman then pulled over to the side of the freeway, police said.

That's when the woman told troopers the suspect pulled in front of her. As they got out of their vehicles, they began arguing on the side of the freeway, where the confrontation became physical and the suspect ultimately stabbed her, police said.
Investigators said the woman doesn't know the exact make of the suspect's vehicle, but thinks it was a Nissan or Toyota and possibly light blue or light green. She also told investigators the suspect's vehicle was being driven by a woman.
