• Downtown Durand fire leaves multiple properties damaged (argus-press.com) — Durand residents should know that a weekend fire on West Perry Street destroyed one home, its garage, and a truck, while damaging several nearby houses and an outbuilding. No injuries were reported, but the homeowners are displaced and receiving Red Cross assistance as multiple township fire departments and Consumers Energy responded to contain the blaze.
