A Revolution in Remembrance at the Pine Lake Cemetery Memorial Day Observance

It will be "A Revolution in Remembrance" at the Pine Lake Cemetery Memorial Day Service on Monday, May 25, 2026, at 9:00 am, at 4351 Middlebelt Road, in West Bloomfield, as Levi Green, former West Bloomfield resident and American Revolutionary War veteran, is recognized for his involvement in the Battle of Bennington in 1777 as part of his service to his country, by Kathy Bilger, Recording Secretary of the Governor Warner Mansion in Farmington, Michigan, and Gina Gregory, President of the Greater West Bloomfield Historical Society. Township Supervisor Jonathan Warshay and other civic and faith leaders will share readings and remarks on the occasion, and the stirring rendition of the National Anthem by New York City soprano soloist, Jenny Lynn Stewart, will be played. Bagpipe and bugle music will also be heard. This event is made possible due to many community supporters, and special thanks to the Pine Lake Cemetery Association, Boy Scout Troop #1022 of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, and the West Bloomfield Police Honor Guard.
