2015 Fenton ArtWalk Artist Denise Willing-Booher to Appear at Fenton Community & Cultural Center July 11

Be Closer to Arts & Culture in Downtown Fenton Saturday July 11

Residence: Fenton, MI

How did you get started as an artist?: I got my start from my first grade teacher Mrs. Jones. She did a drawing every Friday and then had one student do the drawing in front of the class. We all could not wait to take our turn…she made it so joyful and fun.

Describe your art: Watercolor paintings of nature (sunsets, landscapes, sandhill cranes, marsh, rocks, flowers) and paintings of people doing everyday things. I paint everyday things from a different perspective and show their innate beauty.
