2015 Fenton ArtWalk Artist Janet Johnson to Appear at Headlines Hair Salon July 11
Be Closer to Arts & Culture in Downtown Fenton Saturday July 11
Residence: I was born and raised in Waterford MI and raised my family there also. After living for a short time in Macomb Township I made Grand Blanc my home and have resided here for about 4 years now.
How did you get started as an artist? Honestly I think I got started when my mother put the first crayon in my hand as a child. I have always enjoyed arts and crafts and have tried my hand at just about everything over the years beginning with paint by number and model car kits as a child.
I’ve taken many hands on classes and created photo albums, door wreaths, hand painted clothing, and sewing projects to name a few. I traveled the craft circuit for a few years creating and selling my unique hand painted items and try to keep up scrapbooking my photos.
