2nd Annual Children's Carnival Fundraiser At Rite Aid , Clarkston

Rite Aid is now underway with their 2014 Miracle Balloon campaign in stores nationwide. Rite Aid is proudly celebrating its 20th year of partnership with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, a leading nonprofit organization that provides funds for pediatric equipment, treatments, research, therapy programs and charitable care to benefit local sick and injured kids. Since becoming a partner in 1994, Rite Aid has raised more than $64 million for the organization by selling paper Miracle Balloons.

Some of the stores and associates go beyond selling balloons by putting their passion, spirit and creativity to work and conduct special fundraisers. One such fundraiser is planned on May 17 from 11am to 4 pm at the Rite Aid (M-15 & Dixie) in Clarkston. They will be hosting their 2nd Annual Children's Spring Carnival Fundraiser to help CMN and show appreciation for their loyal customers. We will have as our main event Hooper the mascot for the Detroit Pistons. There will be food provided by Harvey's Hot dogs & other Fine Street Eats, Backyard BBQ, balloons by Vision Builder Balloons, Inflatable games & dunk tank by Tons of Fun Party Rentals, Glitter & Henna tattoos by An Affair to Remember, face painting by Maskradiance, games, and prizes and a visit by a fire truck. There will be some hoopers there to demo the art of hooping along with some contests. Bring your Hoola Hoop and join in.   We also are having a raffle which includes a bicycle and other items donated by the vendors. We have 25 tables of crafts and vendor businesses, such as Origami Owl, Scentsy, Thirty-one Gifts, Plexis, Mary Kay, Avon and many other. We will also be joined by Neiman’s Family Market of Clarkston.  We are accepting donations for the raffle. Stop by or call the store for more information 248-625-5272
