Ben and Kim Green of Fenton couldn’t have biological children so they started adopting. They have adopted children from poverty-stricken backgrounds, babies conceived in rapes, and kids who were considered “un-adoptable” due to having special needs including Down Syndrome.
The Greens have adopted 13 children. Fenton Patch has written about this amazing family in the past. A couple years ago they adopted a baby girl who was born without a brain and only lived 55 days. Their youngest son Josiah had a rare genetic defect and just passed away this past April one day short of being 11-months-old.
The Greens believe every child needs love and they are doing what they can to offer that to as many kids as possible. 5-hour ENERGY Helps Amazing People visited the Green family to surprise them with $50,000.
