• Three from Mid-Michigan appointed to state boards and commissions (wnem.com) — A Fenton resident, licensed master plumber Joel Roberts, has been appointed by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer to the state plumbing board, where he'll help shape plumbing codes and licensing rules. His role, pending Senate consent, gives Fenton representation in statewide decisions affecting building standards and public safety.
