• Newly opened non-motorized path connects Linden and Fenton (abc12.com) — A new ChoiceOne Bank Trail now links Linden and Fenton, giving local walkers and cyclists more than two miles of fresh non-motorized path that ties into existing Argentine Township trails. The LAFF Pathways project, funded largely by ChoiceOne Bank and the C.S. Mott Foundation, creates over five miles of connected routes and sets the stage for a Fenton Road Corridor extension next year.
   

• Fenton issues boil water advisory after North Leroy Street main break (mlive.com) — Residents and businesses near VG's Grocery on North Leroy Street in Fenton are under a boil water advisory after a water main break caused a pressure drop that could allow bacterial contamination. City crews are repairing the line, but affected customers should boil water for at least one minute before drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, making ice, or washing dishes until officials lift the advisory.
