On Sunday, January 27, the Fenton Lions Club helped serve breakfast and lunch to 325 wrestlers and spectators at Fenton High School with approximately 500 more people attending from 43 different wrestling clubs. These included Fenton, Hartland, Clio, Flushing, Holly, Durand, Bay County, Howell, Millington, and Linden, to name a few. The Lions received a thank you from the club for our work serving breakfast, lunch, and snacks from 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. the day of the meet. We also worked their Fund Raiser Table selling baked goods and tee shirts for their wrestling club. They said we were extremely helpful and appreciated us staying there all day. When we were approached by the wrestling club to help, we were glad to take the opportunity to show a different group of people what the Lions are about. We set up a Lion's Information table, and we talked to several people telling them how Lion's volunteer their help in the Community.
