AT&T Donates $50,000 to Flint Water Crisis

With local, state, and federal responses to the public water crisis in the City of Flint ongoing, AT&T today announced a contribution of $50,000 to support response efforts of the Community Foundation of Flint and the Flint Child Health & Development Fund.

“The reports from Flint are heartbreaking and will have an impact on the people there for years to come,” said Jim Murray, President of AT&T Michigan. “Like many others across Michigan and the United States who are standing up and supporting our neighbors in Flint, AT&T is committing both resources and manpower to help those effected by this crisis, especially the children of Flint.”

Contributions to the Community Foundation of Flint and the Flint Child Health and Development Fund, www.flintkids.org, are being used to aid children with interventions that support positive health outcomes for Flint children, including: crisis response, optimal child health & development, early childhood education, educational and student support services, continuous access to a pediatric medical home, access to infant and child behavioral health services, nutrition education, healthy food access, safe and healthy home environments, integrated social services, and research.
