-Donations sent via text-to-donate are added to a customer’s monthly wireless bill.

-Donations collected will support the Flint Child Health and Development Fund of the Community Foundation of Greater Flint, devoted to promoting positive health outcomes for Flint’s kids.

The announcement comes on the heels of AT&T’s initial effort to help those affected by the Flint water crisis. In late January, the company contributed $50,000 to support efforts of the Community Foundation of Greater Flint and its Flint Child Health and Development Fund. AT&T has also set up a Your Cause employee contribution page to

allow the company’s employees around the world to contribute to the recovery efforts in Flint.

“AT&T is committed to families in Flint,” said Jim Murray, President of AT&T

Michigan. “Mobile technology keeps people better connected than ever before. The text-to-

give campaign goes an important step further, not just keeping us connected, but

lending a helping hand.”
