It was certainly predictable. Not since January have I seen the question asked; what is the state of Michigan, and Fenton Schools' Administration doing to ensure the safety of our children in school? Have we already forgotten what happened in Connecticut? Are we so naive as to think it could never happen in a Michigan school, in a Fenton school? Are we so naive to think that the knee-jerk reactions of lazy politicians is going to have any effect on such a tragedy?
How do we stop an under-aged, mentally challenged boy from stealing his mother's guns and coming to one of our schools to reek as much havoc as possible in the 5 to 10 minutes it takes for the police to arrive? What's in place to stop him in his tracks before he harms a single one of our precious children?
Any idea what we're doing in Fenton? Where are we in our quest to protect our children? Anybody know?
