Downtown Fenton Streetscape Update - July 2

Champagne-Marx is cleaning and securing the construction zone for the Independence Day holiday. The construction zone will be accessible during the holiday weekend. The Michigan Department of Transportation is requiring that Champagne-Marx cease construction from 3:00 PM on Thursday, July 2, 2015 until the morning of Tuesday July 7, 2015. Next week, they will continue to complete concrete paving and sidewalk installation. In addition, there will be storm sewer construction at the intersection of Ellen and LeRoy along with repairs to the suspension of the bridge on the Shiawassee River. Expect intermittent lane closures. Paving of LeRoy and Shiawassee will begin shortly after these tasks are completed.
