Downtown Fenton Streetscape Update - July 21

FENTON MI- Adelaide Street will be closed at Mill Street on July 22nd, starting at 6AM. The northbound Adelaide detour will be through the construction on Leroy St., while the southbound detour will be on Fenway Dr. Adelaide St. at Mill St. will be closed to through traffic for the duration of this work. There will be access available on either side of the construction for people who need to get to their business or homes, however, they will not be able to drive through the intersection. The closure setup will start around 6AM so the contractor is ready and going by 7AM. They hope to complete the sewer main repair in two days as there are many underground utilities to work around. When completed the contractor will gravel the work area on Adelaide until contractors return to pave Mill St and this will be repaved.
