Downtown Fenton Streetscape Update - June 5

Construction is really moving along well. There will continue to be intermittent lane closures on LeRoy as Champagne-Marx continues to install storm sewer. Sometime next week, traffic will be shifted to the center of LeRoy and work will occur on both sides of the street. The new water main will be tied in by the Police Station on Tuesday morning. Water shutoffs will occur and residents and businesses affected by this will be notified. Next week, there will also be irrigation and utility lines being laid down. In addition, we will see work to the grading on Shiawassee and LeRoy, this is to raise the street on Shiawassee near LeRoy.

Last night was the first summer concert. Champagne-Marx is making the area clean and safe for attendees during the project.
