Downtown Fenton Streetscape Update - May 22

Since this project is receiving grant funding by the Michigan Department of Transportation, Champagne-Marx will not work between 3PM on Friday Afternoon until Tuesday morning in observance of the Memorial Day Holiday. Next week, they will be finishing up connecting the services at Mill Street. Mill Street will be closed that week, but there will be continued access to the Post Office. Patrons to the Post Office may need additional time traveling in the area to get to there.

Grading of Shiawassee will also begin next week. This is part of reengineering Shiawassee to improve the walkability front of Sweet Variations and Iron Grate.

Champagne-Marx maintains that they are currently on schedule in managing this project.
