Downtown Fenton Streetscape Update - October 15

FENTON MI- City Administration was notified this morning that Champagne-Marx has independently decided to convert North LeRoy St. to only northbound traffic between Silver Lake Rd. and Second St while construction is completed within that area. It is expected that this will last for approximately two weeks.

Beginning at 7 AM on Saturday, October 17, 2015, North LeRoy St. between Silver Lake Rd. and Second St. will be closed for construction work. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, northbound traffic will reopen later that afternoon.

To avoid the construction area, it is suggested to use Adelaide St. and North Road as a detour. City Administration apologizes for the late communication. Throughout the project we have provided information regarding road closures and openings as they have been communicated to us from Champagne-Marx and we will continue to provide proper notification to the public about road closure and openings as they are communicated to us from Champagne-Marx. We will continue to encourage the contractors to communicate with us in a timely manner so we can provide this information ahead of time. We understand that this has been a long project. We ask your continued patience as we advance toward the completion of the construction season.
