Downtown Fenton Streetscape Update - October 21
Stay in the know about the Fenton Streetscape 2015 at FentonMomentum.com

FENTON MI- On Friday October 23, 2015, LeRoy St. between Silver Lake Rd. and Second St. will be closed to mill the roadway. Champagne-Marx will work with those looking to access the businesses in that area. In addition, there is the potential for intermittent lane closures between east and westbound Silver Lake Rd. There is a potential for this closure for both the daytime on both Friday and Saturday.
On Tuesday and Wednesday next week, it is tentatively planned to place the final coat of asphalt on all streets in Downtown Fenton affected by the construction. The tentative plan is to pave the following streets on Tuesday: Elizabeth, Shiawassee, Ellen, Mill and LeRoy between Silver Lake Road and Second St. On Wednesday, the plan is to pave LeRoy St. The affected streets will be closed on the day they are being paved.
As the plan for asphalt paving is finalized, I will keep you abreast of the road closures. Once the paving is complete, we will begin closing sections of intersections to install the brick crosswalks. That will begin toward the end of next week and I will distribute road closure information regarding that before the upcoming weekend.
As always, please be safe and mindful of your surroundings in the construction zone. If you have questions please free to email streetscape2015@cityoffenton.org
