Downtown Fenton Streetscape Update - September 18

FENTON MI- The Streetscape project is continuing to move along. They are continuing to complete sewer upgrades and pouring new concrete in the area of LeRoy St. and Caroline St. Next week, work will continue in the area of LeRoy St. between Ellen St. and Silver Lake Rd. This area will remain closed as they continue sewer work in the area by the Cornerstone Building. In addition, the brick for the parking stalls will be laid down beginning in the area of LeRoy St. and Ellen St. and then continuing north. Concrete sidewalk will continue to be poured in the area of LeRoy between Caroline St. and Silver Lake Rd. The street furniture should be installed next week in the south end of the project.

Beginning on September 28, 2015, Champagne-Marks will begin work at the intersection of Silver Lake Rd. and LeRoy St. For those traveling southbound on N. Leroy St. who plan to turn left at Silver Lake Rd, you will need to do so at Main St.
