Downtown Fenton Streetscape Update - September 25

FENTON, MI- Construction in the area of LeRoy between Ellen St. and Silver Lake Road continues to progress. They have completed the underground work in those areas and are continuing with concrete pouring and brick installation. Next week, that will continue as they will be completing sidewalk work on the south side of Silver Lake Road. Last week, a road closure was mentioned eliminating the ability to turn left from southbound N. LeRoy to eastbound Silver Lake Road. That closure is being delayed for the time being. However, Champagne-Marx will be barricading some of the eastbound lane on Silver Lake Road to allow them to work safely in the area. Traffic will still be able to flow in both directions but travel time through the intersection might be slightly delayed.
