On Sunday start your day at the Genesee County Fair off right with the 4-H farmers’ breakfast at 8 a.m. Cost is $7; it’s $4 for youth 12 and younger.
Then trot on over to the Western speed and action horse show at 9 a.m.
At noon, the midway opens, featuring unlimited rides for $20 until 10 p.m.

At the same time, Christian contemporary performances and a cat show (breed cat and house cat judging) start. A marshmallow stuffing contest and chainsaw art auction follow at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., respectively. Karaoke also takes place at 4 p.m.
The 5 p.m. grandstand highlight is the Randy Wise Enduro Derby and Burnout Contest. Admission is $15 or you must have a Fair Fun Pass that’s good for all grandstand events.

Don’t forget the events that run every day at the fair:
-Blacksmith artist Bill Palmer, the “rock star blacksmith.”
-Free wagon rides: Shuttle runs every half hour from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
-At 10 a.m., the petting zoo, bingo tent, master gardener demonstrations and Farm Bureau’s agricultural community exhibit open, as do the agricultural, horticultural, arts and science exhibits.
-White Tiger Discovery, opening daily at noon. Amazing exhibit is $3.
-X-treme chainsaw artist Jeff transforms an ordinary log into a work of art at noon, 2, 4 and 6 p.m.
-Beer tent opens at noon featuring live music.
-Target shooting with Linden Sportsmen’s Club and making funky flowers at the Flint Institute of Arts fun center also begin at noon.
-Classic K-9 Show featuring flyball relays, agility racing, frisbee dogs, world record high jumping, dancing dogs, trick dogs, celebrity dogs at 1, 3, 5 and 7 p.m.
-Twiggy the World Famous Waterskiing Squirrel at 2:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
-Las Vegas Tent: Try your luck at Texas Hold ‘Em, Blackjack, or Let It Ride daily starting at 6 p.m.
