
It's senior citizens day today at the Genesee County Fair and it starts off with free coffee and donuts for seniors.
Events exclusive to the day may be found here, but include the senior health fair and crazy hat contest, both of which start at 10 a.m. There is also a "roaring 20s" ice cream social for seniors at 1 p.m., tomato baseball at 2 p.m. At 4 p.m., pick from a doughnut eating contest the 4-H beef cattle show.
Enjoy unlimited rides for $20 from noon to 10 p.m.

In addition, today and every day, special events take place; click here. One of them, White Tiger Discovery, an educational exhibit that carries an additional charge of $3, starts at noon each day the fair's open.
Evening features include live music in the beer tent starting at 9:30 p.m. with Amplaphi and special guest Lifted as well as grandstand event at 7:30 p.m. Mid-States Bolt & Screw Figure 8 Derby & Burnout Contest.

Grandstand tickets are $15/day or $25 for the fair season, but you must have the season pass to attend Thursday or Friday grandstand events.
As always, admission is free and parking for the day is $5.
