Fenton ArtWalk Artist Diane Ramsey to appear at Fenton United Methodist Church July 13

Location: Swartz Creek, Mi   

Type of art:  Colored pencil drawings.  

How did you get started as an artist?: I started with oils and 4 years ago took a botanical class at FIA which incorporated colored pencil.  I found that I loved the detail that can be achieved with pencil.  

Describe your art: I would describe my art as contemporary realism.  

What is you next project?: My next project will be a landscape.  I recently visited Sedona, Arizona and am inspired the beauty of the area.
