How did you get started as an artist?: I began drawing at a very young age and I have always been told that the talents run through the family. It wasn't until my undergraduate work at Michigan State that I began painting, and fell in love with it.
Describe your art: Quite simply my work is about the figure and a search for identity. I try to capture who the figure is and find a way for the viewer to relate to them.
