Fenton Downtown Development Authority and New Moon Visions Move Forward
Fenton DDA and New Moon Visions working together to support merchants and promote Fenton during Streetscape project.

FENTON MI- New Moon Visions will continue to provide marketing, PR, merchant outreach and event promotion and coordination services for the Fenton DDA through June 2015. Under a separate contract, New Moon Visions will also handle marketing for the Streetscape through completion of the project.
“I am pleased to see that New Moon Visions will return to assist with the Downtown Merchants and the Downtown Streetscape!” said Mayor Sue Osborn.
The support of the Fenton DDA, the merchants, and the City Council contributed to New Moon’s decision to work with the DDA and its merchants to continue to grow in the coming year.

“I am glad that New Moon Visions will continue to provide marketing services for the City of Fenton DDA,” said Craig Schmidt, DDA chairman. “As was heard from local business owners and echoed by DDA board members; New Moon has done an excellent job of marketing the district for the past several years and we look forward to continued success moving forward.”
At the conclusion of the marketing contract in June 2015, a decision will be made to renew the contract, to move forward with an in-house marketing director or to explore other options. Whatever the decision, New Moon, as they do for several other communities, will be available to provide advertising and marketing services to suit the DDA’s future needs.

“We are thankful for the opportunity to continue to serve as part of the Fenton DDA team in the revitalization effort and to continue to build relationships with the merchants and the community,” said Kim Rivera, President, New Moon Visions.
New Moon Visions specializes in the branding and marketing of downtown communities. In 2015 they will be celebrating 25 years of working with merchants and DDAs across the state of Michigan and beyond to build stronger downtowns.
“What better way to celebrate 25 years than rolling up our sleeves for a big project like the Streetscape and continue to work with the merchants, Fenton DDA and the community to market into the future.” said Rivera. “We’re glad to be back and we are moving forward with full momentum.”
