Holly High School Presents Broadway Musical of Footloose

The Holly High School Theater Department will be presenting a Broadway version of the popular 80s movie “Footloose” Aug. 13-15 in the high school’s auditorium.

Each show will begin at 7 p.m., with an additional matinee offered at 2 p.m. on Aug. 15. Holly High is located at 616 E. Holly Road.

Proceeds from the community show will go towards a scholarship for a Holly High School theater student, show organizers say.

Featured musical numbers will include “Footloose,” “Holding Out for a Hero,” “Let’s Hear It for the Boy,” and “Almost Paradise.”

Holly students won’t be the only actors in the production. Cast and crew members range in age from 3 to 70 years old.

Tickets are available online at showtix4u.com or at the door. Students 18 years old and younger can get in for $8, tickets for adults cost $12 and tickets for senior citizens 55 and older cost $8.
