Howl-oween Walk & Costume Contest
Happy Howl-oween! Join the Friends of the Grand Blanc Dog Park for a howling good time at their third annual Howl-oween Costume Walk on Sunday, October 27, from 2 - 4 p.m. with registration from 1:30-2 p.m. at Creasey Bicentennial Park inside the main pavilion. The park is located on Grand Blanc Road between Fenton Road and Porter Road at 1505 E. Grand Blanc Rd, Grand Blanc, 48439.
The cost to enter the walk is $5 per dog. Individuals who wish to enter the costume contests pay a $5 registration per dog per costume category. Registration will be paid at the event. Awards will be given to the best costumes in the following categories: homemade costume, store bought costume, puppy costume, and owner/dog costume combination.
The main event sponsor is Pet Supplies Plus. In addition, prizes will be awarded for each costume from Re-Max/Right Choice of Clio, Green Hill Kennels and Pet Supplies Plus. The best overall costume winner will receive a gift basket of dog goodies and gift certificate with a total value of $50. Each winner will also receive a custom ribbon as an award.
