Popping Bubbles With Rocco is a wonderful story of a moose blowing bubbles that has made a hit with preschoolers. The book is aimed at helping children learn skills that can lead to improved speech development. This is a very family friendly book that introduces blowing bubbles as a language rich activity. Playing with bubbles allows children to learn skills of reaching, requesting, initializing, vocalizing, and following joint attention.

The author, Pamela Dushane ,resides in Lake City, Michigan and is a network administrator. Pam was inspired by her twin sons whom struggled with speech delay. As a mother of late talkers, Pamela knows the frustration of having little ones who could not talk. Coupled with speech therapy, she started researching speech development to help her sons in learning speaking skills. Rocco was written and the design of Rocco was chosen to creatively help parents teach early learning skills in a fun way for everyone to enjoy.

Chelsea Roberts, a cousin to Pamela, lives in Gaines, Michigan and is a graduate of Linden High School and Mott Community College . Chels happily agreed to illustrate Rocco Blows Bubbles. Anyway to help children learn creatively is a huge plus and is the influence and belief that Chelsea stood behind and enjoyed during the many months of work it took to illustrate the book.

Chelsea being a very talented lady earned a two year scholarship for her own writing abilities and graduated with a double associates degree in education and arts. Many people know Chelsea from her State Bank position, community service and singing at events in and out of Michigan.
