Singing for a Cure

Join the Burton Area Junior Chamber at JW’s Music Factory on Saturday, October 11 at 7:00 P.M.

The Burton Area Junior Chamber is sponsoring the team Special Angels for the Making Strides Walk in Flint. Half of all the proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society to support breast cancer research.

This event will be about having a good time and testing your karaoke skills. Here’s how it works:

For $1.00 you can turn in a song of your choice for someone else to sing.

If you are chosen to sing, and you don’t want to sing the song, you must pay $2.00 to avoid singing it.

Make sure you come early! There will be $1 passes available at cocktail hour from 7 - 8. If you use a pass, you must pass the song chosen for you on to someone else. During the cocktail hour there will also be a silent auction and 50/50 raffle.

Of course if you want to come out and just make a general donation we are accepting all cash donations for team Special Angels as well.

There is no charge for entry to this event until after 9 pm. At that time JW’s Music Factory charges $3 for cover charge and the charge increases every couple of hours.
