Rainly Weather Threatens Atheltics with Wash-Outs
Despite rain-outs of two of Fenton High School's road baseball games on Monday, their scheduled home games played on.

Monday afternoon saw two of 's road baseball games washed out, though its home games were not affected.
The 4 p.m. freshman baseball game at Davison High School and the 4 p.m. varsity match-up at Lakeland High School were both cancelled due to wet conditions, according to Fenton High School Athletic Director Mike Bakker.
But, he said, the Tigers' junior varsity baseball squad did go ahead with their 4 p.m. home game against Lakeland High School, as did the girls varsity softball team, who hosted Brighton High School, also at 4 p.m.

The National Weather Service is forecasting rain through Thursday evening, but Bakker said that none of the other contests scheduled for the week would be cancelled unless the weather appears unlikely to let up.
"We don't ever make a decision on weather issues until 1 or 2 o'clock the day of the game," he said.
