HAZEL PARK, MI — Police are investigating after a man was fatally shot in Hazel Park on Monday.
Officers were called at 1:15 p.m. Monday to a home in the 500 block of East George Avenue near Eight Mile Road for a report of shots fired, according to police.
When officers entered the home, they found a 43-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds, according to police.
He was taken to a nearby hospital where he died, according to police.
Police identified the man as Ryan Leslie Adams. They believe he was the only person targeted in the attack.
No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. Police did not provide a description of a shooter.
The shooting also happened the same day two teens were killed and two others were wounded in a shooting in nearby Oak Park, according to police.
