Michigan's Premiere Artists Showcase Creativity in the Name of Charity. Bid on Work from 166 Artists
Michigan AIDS Coalition (MAC) and Honorary Co-Chairs, Gretchen Gonzales Davidson and Ethan Davidson, are thrilled to announce the 20th anniversary of ArtWorks Detroit at 6 p.m. Sept. 18, 2015. The event will bring together some of the most talented and celebrated individuals in the Michigan art and design scenes. This year’s event will be held at The Alchemy in Corktown (2051 Rosa Parks, Detroit, MI). Proceeds from the event will benefit the work of MAC and its mission to prevent HIV/AIDS in Michigan by promoting healthy lifestyles, providing and investing in evidence-based, innovative programs and through advocacy and education.
“We’re thrilled to have reached our 20th anniversary with ArtWorks Detroit,” says Terry Ryan, CEO for MAC. “The generosity of the art and design communities in Detroit is tremendous – both have assisted MAC in fundraising since we were first founded. We look forward to hosting artists, designers and their fans at this very special anniversary event,” Ryan says.
Bid on 150 pieces of fine artwork from many disciplines created by some of Michigan’s most illustrious artists and beyond at the 20th Anniversary of ArtWorks Detroit. The original artwork featured at this annual art event will go to the highest bidder in exciting live and silent auctions. Guests will also enjoy a strolling fashion show, elegant hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, and live entertainment.

New this year, pre-bidding will be available on select artwork. Bidding on these items will continue at ArtWorks Detroit Sept. 18 unless the option to “Buy Now” is selected.
