Superintendent Gary Meier will give an overview of the bond projects and answer questions in the Ferndale High School conference room.
The Board of Education is asking voters to extend the current 7-mill bond levy beyond its 2023 expiration to 2041. The money will be used to maintain school buildings, buy $3.3 million of technology, remove asbestos for $5.2 million, improve safety and energy efficiency and protect classroom dollars from being spent on facilities instead of students.
