'The Voice': Tony Lucca's Family, Friends Cheer on Finalist at One-Eyed Betty's in Ferndale
Bar owner Beth Hussey is the proud cousin of the TV singing competition contestant, who took third place in the second season of 'The Voice' Tuesday night.
Update 11:30 p.m.: Tony Lucca took third place on Tuesday night in NBC's hit singing competition The Voice.
Lucca, of Waterford, made it to the final four on the show's second season, which ended last night in a two-hour finale. Family and friends were gathered at in Ferndale for the show.
Betty's owner Beth Hussey, Lucca's cousin, said her cousin has done great and that they would be celebrating either way. "If he wins or loses tonight he still made it to the top four, he's done really well," she said earlier Tuesday evening.

5 p.m.: owner Beth Hussey is hosting family and friends at her Ferndale bar to find out if her cousin, Tony Lucca, is crowned "The Voice" on tonight's finals show.
"It's just super exciting. We've got a huge family so we're all going nuts of course," Hussey said. "He's been doing music for a long time and finally he's getting his big break."

Lucca, of Waterford, is in the final four on the NBC hit show The Voice singing competition. The father of two has extensive family in Oakland County, including his mom's 12 brothers and sisters.
Lucca performed at Betty's the day before the and Hussey said Lucca plans to perform there again soon.
One of Lucca's other cousins, Cole Garlak, will perform tonight at Betty's during the celebration/watch party, which will start around 8 p.m.
"I suspect it'll be a lot of family members and some fans as well. He's got a huge fan base in this area since this is where he is from," Hussey said. "We're going to celebrate together, either way. If he wins or loses tonight he still made it to the top four, he's done really well."
