Ferndale Gets Upgraded 4G LTE Service

AT&T customers in Ferndale can expect to see better mobile Internet coverage and voice performance between Livernois Road and Bermuda Street, just north of 9 Mile road.

The enhancements add new layers of frequency, also known as “carriers,” to one cell site in the city. This will create stronger Internet connections and help better manage mobile traffic.

“This investment in the Oakland County community is one of the ways we’re working to give our customers a better experience,” said Jim Murray, president, AT&T Michigan. “We’re building a 4G network that’s smarter and better to help them stay connected whether they’re at home or on the go.”
