Ferndale's Puff Factory Burglarized; Police Want Help Finding Suspect
Surveillance video shows suspect who allegedly broke into the Puff Factory and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

FERNDALE, MI – Police are looking for a man who broke into the Puff Factory tobacco shop about 12:45 a.m. Friday.
Ferndale police Detective Lt. William Wilson said in a statement authorities were alerted to the burglary by an alarm. When they arrived at the business, located at 750 W. Nine Mile Road, the rear alley door was opened and the building was empty.

“The culprit had already left after destroying a cash register and stealing cash from it,” Wilson said.
Officers viewed surveillance video, which Wilson said showed a man approximately 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 220 pounds with a stocky build. He had a scraggly beard and dark hair balding in a distinct horseshoe pattern. His skin appeared to be light brown or tan, and police believe he may be Hispanic. He was wearing a navy blue-colored hooded sweatshirt under a dark jacket, dark blue jeans and black shoes.
