Ferndale's ZeroBase Energy 1 of 50 Michigan Companies to Watch

FERNDALE, MI – A Ferndale company is among 11 in Oakland County that will be honored in May at the 2016 “Michigan 50 Companies to Watch” gala in Lansing.

The Michigan Small Business Development Center awards program honors second-stage companies based in Michigan.

The Ferndale company is ZeroBase Energy LLC, established in 2009 to make clean energy sources available to people who need them the most.

The company, which began at the Lyman Morse Boatbuilding Company in Maine, a has grown into a leading innovator in hybrid power. Hundreds of ZeroBase microgrid and power systems are in use around the world in some of the most austere and remote environments.
