GreenSpace Open Sunday for Mother's Day Brunch

Ferndale, Mich. -- GreenSpace Cafe, Ferndale's artisanal plant-based restaurant and bar which cardiologist Dr. Joel Kahn opened in December, will host its first Mother's Day Brunch this Sunday, May 8.
Guests can choose from a wide variety of items a la carte, including toasts such as wild mushroom-smoked cashew cheese, avocado and raspberry-mint-tahini; coconut yogurt or acai fruit bowls; salads of arugula, blood-orange beet or the popular kale "superfood salad"; several larger plates such as pancakes with blackberry compote and coconut cream, biscuits and gravy, carrot-lemon tart, sweet potato hash, zucchini latkes or the lumberjack with pancakes, eggplant bacon, tofu scramble and home fries; desserts of chocolate, fruit or lemon elderberry cheesecake; and custom "mom-mosa" sparkling cocktails such as pear-cayenne, elderflower-chartreuse and white grape-basil, all crafted with prosecco.
All menu items are vegan, meaning no animal products, and sourced as locally and organically as possible. Many gluten-free, soy-free and oil-free items also are available.

Prices are a la carte, ranging from $6 for toasts to $14 for the lumberjack, with most plates around $10.
