Head to M-Brew for a Taste of Michigan

Next time you are craving a taste of all the greatness Michigan has to offer, you can skip the cross state road trip and just head to Ferndale. Think Pasties, Pinconning Pizza made with Michigan cheese and flour, 30 Michigan beers on tap, Traverse City cherry & beef brisket chili and Bavarian Style Frankenmuth fried chicken. This place is sure to give you your Made in Michigan fix!

It is in a renovated VFW building west of Woodward and north of Nine Mile. The building is behind the Magic Bag Theater and next to Valentine’s Distilling Detroit. We would recommend parking in the lot next to Valentine’s or at a meter.

Hours: Monday-Wednesday 7am- 11pm, Thursday-Saturday 7am- midnight, Sunday 7am- 9pm

As we watched pizzas flow out, we enjoyed our beer sampling (four samples for $8). You can get a 16oz. Shorts Lager for under $4 or a New Holland Dragon’s Milk for about $10… with 30 great beers on tap as well as some great Michigan wines, all your drinking needs are taken care of. Dino’s Lounge owner, Dean Bach, created an environment at M-Brew for all. The laid back atmosphere (beer is served in plastic cups and you order food and drinks at the counter) is family friendly and the perfect place to grab some food & drink with your friends. There’s a large wrap around patio to enjoy during the warm weather months and plenty of space to get comfy once the cold weather comes in.

It is important to mention that M-Brew opens early for coffee and breakfast, but stays open late for beer, pizza and arcade games.
