‘Peeping Tom’ Targeting Ferndale Neighborhood: Video
Police are asking the public's help in identifying the suspect, whose image was captured on home surveillance video.

FERNDALE, MI — A window peeper who has been spying on Ferndale women who live near Martin Road is “not only a nuisance, but poses obvious danger to the women of the community,” Ferndale Det. Lt. William Wilson said in a news release Thursday.
One woman in particular has been targeted by the man, who Wilson called a “sexual predator,” and his image was caught on private security cameras, Wilson said. Police are distributing it in hopes that someone can identify him.
The incidents have been reported over the past month in a neighborhood primarily bordered on the north by Woodward Heights, on the south by Orchard, on the west by Hilton Road and on the east by Bonner, Wilson said.

Wilson encouraged the individual to contact police and explain his motives if he “is not inclined to engage in more aggressive or assaultive behavior.”
The suspect appears to be a white male with a thin build and wearing plastic rimmed glasses and a beanie-type cap.
