Vote Now: Ferndale Athlete of the Fall Season

Vote from a list of very deserving candidates on who should be named the Patch Athlete of the Season for Ferndale.

had a lot of great performances this season. We want to hear from our readers which one they thought was the best.

Here are the candidates: 

Kelsey Wilson (senior, volleyball) – Wilson led the team in kills and blocks for the second straight season and maintained a 3.8 GPA while doing it. The senior also to Akron in November.

Eric Ellis (junior, football) – The quarterback helped turn things around for the Eagles after a slow start. His two-touchdown performance was one of the highlights of the entire season. Coach Ryan Dunlap said Ellis improved throughout the season and the junior ended up on the All-OAA team in the Blue division.

Leo Kopack (junior, cross country) – Kopack was the top runner for the boys cross-country team all season. He helped the for the state finals and finished in the top half of Division 2. He ran a 17:39.11 (115th place) at the Michigan International Speedway.

Chevez Farris (senior, football) – Farris was the Eagles' leading receiver this season and he was one of the top defensive backs in the OAA Blue, making the .
