TEAM SCHOSTAK FAMILY RESTAURANTS AND APPLEBEE'S RAISE MORE THAN $650 FOR THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF OAKLAND & MACOMB COUNTIES

Donation part of Southfield Applebee's community giving series

Livonia, Mich.-based TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants (TSFR), a family-owned restaurant group with an expansive portfolio of casual dining, quick-service and family dining restaurants throughout the state of Michigan, and its Southfield Applebee’s raised $658 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Oakland & Macomb Counties through a Dine to Donate event held on May 15.
As the third initiative in its community giving series, the Southfield Applebee’s donated 10 percent of all guests’ food bills from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. on May 15 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Oakland & Macomb Counties, which includes Southfield’s Field Zone youth program. Proceeds from the event will aid the organization in its mission to enable youths in need to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens. The Southfield Field Zone, in particular, is focused on enhancing its investment in creating a safe and enriching experience for youth in the community through a variety of programs focused on Character and Leadership, Health and Life Skills, and Educations and Careers.
“The Southfield Sundays campaign has allowed us to engage with our community and residents in a creative and fun way, while supporting some great local organizations in the area,” said Southfield General Manager Brad Wilson. “We are proud to have partnered with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Oakland and Macomb Counties to help raise the additional funds to support increasing access to youth programs that develop a strong foundation for the future.”
