Visions for Vacancies: What Would You Like at This Woodward Space?

Ferndale has a great mix of businesses, but is there anything missing?

In our last Visions for Vacancies, we asked readers what type of business they  would like to see move into the vacant building at 241 W. Nine Mile Rd. in the former location of Josephine Creperie & Bistro.

Among the most popular ideas were a casual Coney Island or something like a Jamba Juice.

This spot at 23225 Woodward Ave. is the former home of Street Legal Customs, which closed in July 2011, and Pianoworks. It is five blocks north of Nine Mile Road on the west side of Woodward and has 5,000 square feet – more than double the last space we featured.
