Flint Releases 2019 Crime Data

FLINT, Michigan—Below are the complete crime statistics for the City of Flint for 2019.

Incomplete crime data for 2019 previously had been supplied to the State of Michigan. The error was discovered and properly corrected. However, the updated data was submitted too late for it to be reflected in the FBI’s annual crime report released on Monday, Sept. 28, 2020.

The complete data for Flint for 2019 is as follows:

Violent Crime: 1,692
Murder and nonnegligent manslaughter: 39
Total homicides: 46
Rape: 91
Robbery: 189
Aggravated assault: 1,373
Property crime: 2,769
Burglary: 914
Larceny theft: 1,557
Motor vehicle theft: 298
Arson: 51
