Grand Rapids Board Of Education Selects Dr. Leadriane Roby As Next GRPS Superintendent
If accepted by Dr. Roby, the next step of the process is for the board to begin negotiating a contract for the new superintendent.
On Monday, February 24, 2020, the Grand Rapids Board of Education voted to offer the position of Superintendent to Dr. Leadriane Roby. If accepted by Dr. Roby, the next step of the process is for the board to begin negotiating a contract for the new superintendent.
Dr. Leadriane Roby is currently the Assistant Superintendent of Richfield Public Schools in Richfield, MN, a position she has held since 2014. Dr. Roby received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota, a Master of Arts in Education Administration from Saint Mary’s of Minnesota, a K-12 Educational Licensure from Saint Mary’s of Minnesota, and a Ph.D. in K-12 Educational Leadership, Research, and Technology from Western Michigan University.
